Hi Guys

I'm new to this forum so please excuse me if there is already a thread of this nature (couldn't see one). I have a 08' 135i which is now out of motorplan so I have to tackle the services myself, i still plan to take the car to bmw for a oil change so I get the service book stamped, but from there on I am on my own.

I am not concerned about how to do it, but rather which brand parts to fit, can anyone give some advise? I am planning on changing plugs, air & pollen filter, diff oil and discs+pads.

Any input, performance parts or not as long as its good quality.

Thanks

My suggestion , buy the service kit from BMW, works out cheaper then trying aftermarket stuff which may or may not work on your car.

BMW are not that expensive on most service items.

Thanks. I ended up buying a service kit at Autozone. I got GUD filters (air, micro, oil) Bosch plugs (x6), castrol oil for the engine + diff and dot 4 than I used to bleed brakes, the whole tootie ended up costing 3K. The did everything myself and with a bit of DIY ability and youtube I managed to do everything in just under 3hrs.
