A lot of wet sanding is an understatement!!
And it's not easy to spray rims and get even/complete coverage on all the inside edges.

Last time I did one rim I swore never again. The results do look spectacular though but all that bent over tedious work, nooit brah!!

So the car is up and rolling again .

Konis fitted with new shock top hats .
Redid all the calipers waiting on high heat stickers to finish the look off.
Rims done gloss black ..
Wheelspacers will be here come the weekend to try give a more aggressive stance ..

Car is sitting very high while shocks settle...
Ride is 10 times better...cant believe it's like a new car ...
Best repair on the 135 so far ...couple pictures as I did repairs...

Looks really cool although I would have removed the bolts from the calipers to keep them black before spraying red to give them a nice contrast. :fencelook:

But as far as the look as a whole its looking great, black rims with red calipers looks wicked! :smilebounce:

I think matt will always look dull compared to gloss. I prefer gloss, then semi gloss.

Looks great Dean. What paint did you use on the calipers?

I let the konis settle a bit but the worn front shocks meant my car now looked like a Rav 4 in comparison ...
A fellow member had a set of hnr for sale so I bought them ..Thanks to Taufeq for sorting me out ..springs landed 3 days later from cape town...

I got to fitting them ..Rears were relatively simple.. .The front took a bit more patience as I used spring clamps and was scared they would come off and take my head off...

Took me about 4 hours to complete....
Although the springs were sold as sport springs partnumber revealed to be race so the drop is 60 mm front and 40mm rear...
The car handles insanely and feels so well planted specially in comparison to the oem blown shock setup ....
Will let them settle for a week or so then have alignment done ..have loaded 4 adults in the car and no rubbing issues ...

Update time

Car has settled nicely although allot lower than I thought...
A 1m bumper from a fellow member came up so I snapped it up...
I had mixed feelings as from some angles it looks epic and others the wheel arches look to narrow...

Bumper needs some TLC so once it's all sorted I will post pics
