E70 X5 QUERY

Guys, I see the E70 comes with optional 7 seats.

I've read that on the 7 seater options there is no space for a space saver spare wheel.

What I want to know is, does all E70s come with run flats and no spare wheel, or is it only the 7 seater, and does the 5 seater come with non run flats and a spare wheel.

Thanks

I have the 7-seat 2007 3.0si. Yes no space saver tyre. Just some kit with a pump and sealant for holes or punctures in the tyre. I must say it works very well. Never felt the need for a spare wheel.

And yes they came with runflats which I swapped for normal because they had a very harsh ride.

Just to add that having owned the 7-seat, DO NOT buy it for the 7-seats if you plan on using them regularly.

They are very very squeezed, even for kids, and very very low, worse for kids. They are seated too low to see in front or outside, and too squeezed to stay there long. Forget adults.

I wont recommend anything else than what I know. The prado back 150 seats are fantastic. good view and very comfortable even for some not so tall adults. However, it has near zero storage space with those seats up. In fact it's better to say it has NO storage space with those seats up.

Some had the space saver option, 7 seater cannot take that option.
The tyre puncture kit (pump and sealant) supplied with the car negates that need for a spare actually.
