E60 vs E90

my current car is a e46 318 FL. my wife just finished paying her tazz, and she would like a BMW.

we're seriously looking at her taking my car, seeing that we know what we have in the car.

now, the fun part, I have to find a BMW for me again. i'm either looking at a E60 or a E90(NOT A 320i).

can current owners of above mentioned cars please list what they love about their cars, and please give opinions on the other.

Will you use the new ride as a family car or just your car?
Personally I'd go with the E90 *biased*

reason for me leaning towards the E60 is, from next year the market will be flooded with E90's and there will be lots of them around.

Go and test drive both cars first and see which you prefer - they are quite different ...

Pick of the bunch though is the 330d/530d.

E90's are going to be very sensible to buy now with the new 3 Series coming - so lots of great deals on used cars! And if you are not in a hurry, take your time for exactly what you want - plus you can look at something with motorplan too. E60 is great, so depends on what you are looking for...
