Howzit everyone
After looking at all sort of different rims I found a set that I like on my 530d. Still have to stock 225/50/17 all round and I'm looking at 18s the car isn't m sport so I'm not looking into any crazy designs for the car something suttle. I found a 5 bar rim setup which very close to my factory fitted rims but these are 8.5j all round meaning I should atleast go 235 up front 225 is gonna stretch on a 8.5j before making the move any suggestions advice on tire sizing? I'd like 235/45/18 front and 255/45/18 at the back if it's possible. I know these cars can have issues with the traction light coming on and so and I prefer to avoid this problem. If the 8.5j won't work I'll happily look for other rims or maybe 19s I'm a bit too concerned about 19s as I do travel back roads Ā¼ of my driving and as we know SA roads aren't the finest. I'd like to personally hear opinions and what has worked for others! 19s look very good but I'm worried about sacrificing comfort too, car is getting remapped, dp and tcu tune so ya not worried about bigger wheels making the car feel slower.
