After an accident that damaged one of my headlights I decided to do a LCI Halogen head light upgrade.
I got the head lights and LCI electrical plug conversion kit from my BMW dealer. The conversion kit consists of the mail adapters, connecters and rubber waterproofing plugs. I simply cut of the original mail adapter and refitted the LCI adapter plug. The headlights were app R6800 per light and the conversion kit was only R470.
I used this site as reference.

As can be seen I have joined the two 5W park light wires to feed the one 10W light of the LCI headlight.
All is looking good except that I intermittently get a bulb out warning on the right hand side park light. I understand that I can fit a resistor to sort out this problem. Does someone know what type and resistance to use?
