Werner is still convinced that your M5 pulls harder than his current white one. He popped past here today so we can sort some last niggles on the manual conversion; and he is missing the black one already :roflol:

I did not take before shots however the stock sound is freely and easily available and im petty sure they all sound the same.

Before and after runs were made and nearly nil difference was noted. The figures it made is irrespective as im only using the dyno for delta changes.

After Dyno run

Drive home video to follow... and added

I'm in two minds about the exhaust tips. The stock setup protrudes a bit however like the E46M3 I prefer to have it flush looking with the diffuser. Which is what I've opted for. What do you guys think?

Another Dyno run

Nicely done Andy!
I think keep the tips the way you have them now, flush with the bumper/diffuser.
From your personal experience, is it now much louder than before, just with the muffler delete? Interested in doing it on the M6

I think the car sounds great with just the mufflers removed. With hardly any power losses im very happy.

Cold start its a bit boomy and loud but once warmed up its quite civil. With windows closed you can still hear the engine induction noise and its very civil inside.

I was under the impression the car wasnt loud at all until we made a tunnel video.

Uploading it to youtube now
