e53 Telphone getting it to work

Ok, so my e53 has or better had a fully working telephone. Love my in car phone. However, with the recent upgrades to the network, connecting that handset has become sketchy. I fear the new technology is simply to new for that phone. Any solutions to keep staying connected?

You could 3m tape an old iphone to it.
Then you get that Magnum PI porno swag and still be able phone a person from 2024

Why on earth would you still want to use it?
There is just something special on an "older" car to have everything work as it came from the factory (a sense of fulfillment). When you jump in and drive your time capsule, it feels like you are back in the 90's/early 2000's (or whichever era your car is from).

Full respect & best of luck to you Adi on trying to make it functional again!

Are you sure it's a network issue? The phone in my car still works and its from 2001. Keeping it working however means I have to jump through service provider hoops. When last did it work? Is the Sim card still connected to the network?
