Andy you gonna loose this fight for our coupe guys with such a good looking, facelift, white, nice wheels and rear bumper E46 M3 :praise:

For me if you are not gonna use it daily the Coupe is really a awesome focussed car with one of the best engines ever built, feels like the engine was almost meant for his car...

If space was no problem and you were looking for a real drivers car...

I'd vote for the Z4M:praise:

Good luck with your choice.

Guess which one I voted for :fencelook:

To each his own, owned both and would own an M3 again.

M3 is like the perfect housewife. Good at everything. Good with the kids, good in bed, good in the kitchen reasonable maintenance...

The Z4M is the girlfriend you'll always remember. Great in bed but a terrible housewife. We all want one, only some can manage to squeeze them into their lives. And we are lucky to have done so :)

My ex. An outstanding car. For me greater fun factor than the E46M. Then again if you over 6ft2. Rather go for the E46.

Yeah CSL comparison would be unfair, the Z4M does not have that many CSL parts on to justify that plus the CSL is a real legend!

I am 1.89m tall and I get into a perfect driving position in the Z4M, just look like an idiot getting in and out... :flyfun:

If you look at it, it balances out......all things being stock, the Z4M has a lower centre of gravity than the normal M3, so therefore the Z4M should set a quicker lap time on a circuit. If I'm not mistaken, brakes are directly from the CSL anyway. The CSL does have a better handling package and a few extra kws as well as lower weight.

One should realise the more sports orientated vehicle would be the Z4 by default.

I definately is more focussed, the discs are from the CSL, the pads are the same as the normal M3.
The diff is also the same as the CSL, but I believe it is only the slip ratios that differ although I am not sure the difference compared to the normal M3
