E46 SUNROOF MOTOR ISSUES

[font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]Got a 2004 E46, sunroof motor seems to very noisy and keeps getting stuck. Sounds like the wheel is stripped inside( the plastic wheel in the motor)[/font]
[font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]Has anyone had this issue and can the wheel be replaced?[/font]
[font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]If not where can i get a new motor without having to sell my parts? Lol[/font]

OP, this was posted several times. Seems that the network is slow on your side and you likely pressed post several times due to no activity. Be careful when making online payments at this time - you wouldn't a similar occurrence there.

@"Touring GP" please do not create multiple threads - understand that this could be attributed to a slow network as mentioned.

With regards to your issue, I would suggest you contact your nearest Webasto centre and ask them for help. If you are DIY inclined, you can remove your sunroof glass and then strip out and inspect the components.. You can get away with a motor from any E46 with a sunroof, that is being stripped for spares.
