E46 scuffing noise when turning

Hi Guys

I recently had the tie-rods, lower joint and universal joint assembly and control arm bushes replaced with new at BMW.

I'm still having an issue where one can hear a sort of metallic scuffing/squealing noise from the front when turning left at speed.
The noise tempo increases in line with the speed.
The noise is consistent, doesn't come and go, but is only there when turning left. No noise when keeping straight or turning right.

Any idea what this could be? Power steering belt maybe?

Check if all your fender linings are secure and fitted properly. At high speed they could be pushed out a little by the wind and touch the tyre.

I have the stock 17" BMW mag wheels on btw... nothing fancy going on in the wheel arches.

Thanks, I did check the dust shield, it wasn't that.

Not fender linings either... :dunno:

Taking it to an indy this time. Need new brake pads anyway... and on it goes. :banghead:
