E46 rear bumper removal

How to? I need to fit my recently acquired towbar, thanks to E46-325i, I can probably work it out, but don't want to stuff anything up, any tips appreciated....did a Google search, nothing usefull came up...
how do I remove the bumper? The rest will be straightforward....

Inside the wheel arches there are clips. use a flat head screwdriver to pull them out. Then get ready to get underneath the back bumper. Depends on which style bumper you have, it may be necessary to remove the trim. There are two two holes underneath the bumper. Each has a phillips screw that you need to undo.

After all is loosened and removed you may carefully remove the bumper.

Will do, thanks. I have ordered a Haynes manual, very handy to have...ordered it from Kalahari, 16 days to deliver...then I pop into Autozone Germiston this morning....there's the farking manual on the shelves......:bangdesk:

Recently had my rear bumper off... Imagine the looks we'll get at my carwash from all the clients.. Randomly removing a BMW's bumper! :fencelook: :roflol: :biglol:

I will handle this, fitted quite a few towbars, I'm a technical person by trade, but I've learnt to rather ask those that know rather than stuff something up, with the correct info it will be a short job, without it will take longer, and I might need to buy parts....:rollsmile:
