Good price, that was the quote on a re con of an E36 pump. Where is the rack leaking? If it's at the boots, change it first, that's likely what caused the pump damage. Recon of yours should come in about R2k, with a re chrome on the shaft. Easy diy to remove/replace, just whip off the rack ends (32 spanner) and steering wheel coupling, no wheel alignment issues, just take move of steering wheel position!

HI GUYZ, ALL WELL & GOOD THAT THESE NEW COMERS TO THE BMW PARTS GAME ARE CHEAPER THAN PIONEERS LIKE BEMOW & A FEW...WHAT KEEPS THESE OLDER GUYS STILL IN BUSINESS REGARDLESS OF CHEAPER PARTS IS THE VALUE OF THE QUALITY & SERVICE OF THE SAME PARTS (DESCRIPTION & NOT BRAND/MAKE) & THE AMOUNT OF KNOWLEDGE REGARDING THE PARTS THEY SUPPLY.

A WORD OF ADVICE, RATHER SPEND A R200-R600 MORE @ A REPUTABLE BMW ONLY SUPPLIER THAN A FEW R1600'S EVERY NOW AND THEN...
