idler pulley failed on my beloved and as a result waterpump was not turning and engine overheated and blew head gasket. while the car was standing took the opportunity to do a whole bunch of things that i have been wanting to do on the car for a long time. did vanos seals with my pops and sent her in for the head. getting the CVV replaced while its in also had gearbox sent in as my gear shift would lean to the right after using 5th. checking clutch out and if it doesnt have much left will do that as well. head went for engineering also replaced rings.

is there anything else you guys think I should look at changing while in for the job? (besides the obvious preventative maintenance on cooling system parts) ive hit the 300k mark on milage and would like to get her going well. please note my plan is not just to throw cash at the car and replace as much as possible as my budget wont allow for that plus she isnt worth that much i dont want to waste money but i certainly dont mind doing a few things that need to be done and that will keep her in going well for the next few years

any advice will be appreciated

All the gaskets, sump, valve, ofh and timimg front cover. Rubber quibo, all gear linkages and bushes. Entire cooling system replacement every hose the are 8 in total I think. Pump and thermostat.
