Hi guys, just wanted to know if there's interest in anyone looking for a service like this,(as per the topic) someone who needs a test dme, i can do it, delete ews from your test dme, then you can use it as a test dme on those vehicles, if within the rules, for fanatics, price would be 700 per dme, per ews delete, feel free to let me know, mods, if inappropriate, please delete the thread, thx guys
Ps i have a test dme running and will gladly show you a vid of it working, can also remap a ms42 from 320i up to a 330i and also ms43 to 330i
This is for bmw e46 320,323,325,328 and bmw e39 525i

I'm not certain but i do think it does need an emulator but I'll check later as I'm pretty swamped atm, will let you know before day end.

I have a friend with a 2006 E83 X3 2l diesel with immobilizer problems. He was looking for some one to delete the immobilizer. Would you be able to do it? If so, where are you located? When resetting the immobilizer the car would often start but after one or two restarts it just will not start again, although after standing overnight it often starts again in the morning without resetting.

If you have the obd2 cable, you can do this yourself using the ms4x flasher.
For both the ms42 and ms43 there is a ews delete patch.

Use the ms4x flasher to flash latest version of ecu software. Then read it back, then use tunerpro to apply path and ms4x flasher again to write patched ecu software back. You can do this without removing the ecu from the car. My only recommendation is, put the car on a battery charger while performing the flashing, and that is so that your battery dont run flat while flashing the ecu.

Cape Town Durbanville. Haven't done a ews delete yet, but have done software update and patched in a few pops for testing purposes. So comfortable using the software.

Oh no I am unsure if that M47 can be DIY'ed like the M52/M54 engines. That may actually require a person with more expensive equipment than the OBD2 cable. The MS4x ECUs for the M52/M54 engines were all reverse engineered. I don't even know what ECU is in use for the M47

Sorry Francois, seems we have taken over your thread. According to some guys on Youtube one can input the ews code in to the cluster. The code is supposed to be supplied with the car in the owners manual. Otherwise one can get the code from the cluster hidden menu. Would you be able to help with that?
