e46 m3 service lights?

Hi

I have an E46 M3 2004, and its but for the inspection service.
Its doing just over 75000km and I have been driving it as usual. The inspection reading shows -2500km now since I didnt have time to book it in and have no idea what the dealers will charge me.
But the real worry is the lights that come on after about 20 minutes of driving. The dsc, handbrake, flat tyre indicator and the gearbox light all come on and stay on till I switch off and restart then it disappears.
The only other comforting thing is that they all are yellow/orange, and no red lights.
Is it a warning for the due service, or is there a major malfunction behind the scenes ?

Any info will help alot.

Thanks

I think it means, just get a service and ask for a loan car. Sorry I have not done an inspection in the e46, but I know the e36 isnt too bad.

Dude you should service it asap to avoid something going seriously wrong. As the guys already recommended, get diagnostics done as well.

Your car is in incredible condition - keep it that way

I'm going to get it done at umhlali bmw.

Hi,

Those lights come on when the steering angle sensor is faulty or when the speed sensor is faulty....common on the E46'sn post the outcome after you do the diagnostics.

Howzit Everyone

I got my car serviced on Saturday, and got the front
disc pads changed .
And the performance now is soooo much better, it feels like
you're driving with the sport button on when its actually off.

And the lights are gone... what a relief.
The spares came to R5300 , thats after a 10% discount and including front disc pads.

Hope to be at the run on saturday.
