E46 M3 Rubber Mats

Hi there (I posted this already in the 3 series forum instead of the M Forum)

Will post some pictures of my new ride, the CSL (see new members forum) in due course.

In the meanwhile I need to get a few small things for the car to get it 100% back to original form. One divergence I would like to make from the original are in respect of the mats.

In my previous E46 M3 which I bought used, it had a set of really good looking fitted rubber mats, which I assumed were available from the agents. The mats were of a very good quality and fitted so snuggly which led me to believe they were OEM.

If anyone has any leads on where to source them I would appreciate it. According to the realoem website, there was a rubber mat and an aluminium mat too. I have called a couple of dealers and the rubber mats don't appear on their procurement system but Aluminium is available on special order.

Any other ideas appreciated. I am very keen to get a set of rubber mats.

Thanks

Hi there !!!

The E30 rubber mats fits perfectly into the E46. Just some modification needed to the drivers one. (around the accelerator area). The rest fits like a glove.
Around R450 from the dealers.
Hope this helps.

I got these E30 mats in my M to protect scruffing on the plastic kick panel bits and off course protect the orginal mats, like people say its fits really well, looks really ugly, and works brilliantly... I haven't made any adjustments to the driver side, really doesn't bother me, but is good to do it.

Price is spot on as well...
