E46 M3 Oil Light - Help!

Hi All,

I have a E46 M3. The oil light stays on, when the ignition is on this is before starting. The oil light should stay on for a few secs. then go off. Anyone had an issue like this before?

When the coolant level warning light, the oil pressure light and the tire pressure warning lights are on, it is time to do a top end run on your private test facility. Its normal.

Welcome to the forum.
Oil preasure sensor needs replacement.
Edit - Fordkoppie is correct - it is normal for it to go out after a few seconds after you started the car, but when it comes on again for say 15 seconds after you started the car an goes out again, it needs replacement.
