Hahaha that same C63 likes having a war with M3s

The car is officially fixed :) Turns out one of the itb clamps got in the way for the throttle actuator to fully open, causing random eml lights. Even with this current map running a little on the rich side the force feels strong with it.

Nice Andy, but won't you please change the colour of the wheels back to stock please please :=):

I have another set of wheels I'm contemplating fitting. I also prefer the OEM look though.

Rowan and Alain I get compliments on the car everyday and everywhere I go. It is really in such good nick. And with the steering wheel and interior in tip top shape it really is a looker :)

Oh crap Andy I had that same problem with the clamps once should have given me a shout dude , easy fix but I also thought somethings was seriously broken when it happened to me , I still limped the car to Burgy and he found the problem , yip not one of my shining moments :thumbdo:

Thanks for the compliment on her condition buddy and I must agree with the work we all have put into her she is an extremely neat M3 if you take she is almost 14 years old :coolShake:

Hahaha this is "apparently" going down tonight

I'm driving to vereeniging with her now. Enjoying the car so much. And it is after all a Daily driver build :)

The consumption is under reading immensely but I'll see what kind of mileage I get per tank. At this rate it looks like 400kms. But if I do more highway to work and back I might even see 550km.

*Yes it is going down tonight :)

Ok first things first. We sat and debated the dyno results at length and came to a conclusion that it's been corrected to flywheel power. So the Figures are 299 flywheel KW not Wkw.

Bearing this in mind the car is producing roughly 255 wkw with a standard 15% drivetrain loss. So this is all adding up nicely to make for a good run against a strong C63 AMG.

I expected a Hiding but the video is being edited and should be up by tomorrow :)

(Naturally) Top gear was playing on the Headunit as will be seen in the video.

This is the first time I gave the car a proper hard run and it ran beautifully. Everything is coming together nicely however the car is still running very rich and a revised file will yield even more gains.

Ultimately a new intake manifold will be needed as the current one simply does not flow well enough. The intake runners measure at 38-40mm where the ITB's inlets are at 50mm.

However I am extactic with the car and very very satisfied with the progress made. It is only going to get better from here on out :)

This car flying and has so much more potential. Can't wait for when she's fully loaded. Ohh and the sound in the videos just don't do it justice.
