E46 M3 Manual vs SMG

Drove both the manual and smg ...I love the smg .
Personal preference I think.

My father in law's Z4 has the SMG gearbox, works for him and he has gotten used to it, but even after that, I don't like the feel of it from the passenger perspective - most of the time the changes are pretty rough and my mechanical sympathy has a problem with that! I'd rather have the clutch pedal, or if it has to be, just a normal automatic, naaah, not really! :rollsmile:

BMW stands for lot's of things, but will never compare it to a Toyota!
