e46 M3 Local Exhaust options-Cape Town

I've had the M3 for just over 3 months and I still can't stop driving it! The current exhaust has been decatted and I love the rasp, BUT looking/thinking to try get a slightly deeper/heavier exhaust tone? Still want the rasp, but deeper tone in the higher RPM's. Is this possible or am I being stupid? No problems with the current setup, so don't really want to drop loads of $$$ for very little tone change.

replace X pipe and insert H pipe OR balancer tube in front of the cat you removed.
