Not sure why the distinction and emotional responses are exagerated when it comes to spinning. Surely drifting, gymkhanas, drag racing and various forms of motorsport subject cars to similar exertions.
In most cases cars used for spinning are older models, out of maintenance/warranties etc. Should it not be more of a concern with the number of newer cars that have been "tuned" then returned to stock and subsequently sold on to unsuspecting buyers with the "assurance" of maintenance plans in place. These cars are usually pulled through its arse at the weekly night meets and other occasions in the name of "testing", surprised that this is "acceptable"...
Guess the reality of buying a second hand car is unfortunately you will never know what the car was subjected to by the previous owner...:skit:
