e46 m3 front bumper gap

so i took my car into the panelshop to have stonechips sorted ie respray bumper (got really kak service) but anyway that's a story for another thread

they refitted my bumper, but im not so sure about the gap between the headlights and front bumper, ive got about 1finger gap is this normal i cant seem to remember, i imagined it being closer

anyone know what the normal gap is meant to be

i took a pic but photobucket giving me issues will upload soon

having it sorted out after 2 today, im beyond pissed off with this so called panel shop!!! car was supposed to be done in 3 days it took more than 2weeks

You can adjust - its the bolts on the front bumber...loosen - lift and there you are. but get something about 5mm thick min (about the same as the bonnet/panel distance) and wedge in between first for you to push against, otherwise it will be too close, there must be a gap for movement.

And dont loosen all the bolts - do one side first.

Also have an asymmetric gap, will fix it over a weekend :=):
