e46 M3, do they all have sunroof?

Dumb question, but were all e46 M3's sold with a sunroof in SA?

I am looking at buying one but dont like the idea of a hole in the roof of an M car, and all the extra weight...

Of course a CSL would be perfect, but too expensive for me.

No, but almost all of them got the sun roof as it was a free option on the e46 M3.

I have never seen on in RSA. I know of one in the USA which doesn't have one, I have only seen pictures though.

Ive seen alot of M3 track builds use a fiber glass or carbon insert for the sunroof... with the mechanism removed and the insert its not too much heavier...

some go as far as replacing the whole roof skin if carbon of FG...

My 2001 e46 m3 had no sun roof but most do.
Does not add too much weight but does lift the center of gravity.

not sure why it would make a difference unless your seriously going to be tracking the car , and even then, the difference would be minimal.

Sure difference is minimal but in the quest for handling it all adds up.

does that sunroof weight make that much of a difference?.....i was very happy with my E46M handling....but then again, i wouldnt know any different
