I wonder why it can't be financed? A prang maybe? The paint on the front fender doesn't blend with the passenger door. Front bumper also doesn't sit right. There's a bigger gap between bumper and light on the passenger side

R600k is crazy.

Especially for a car that was almost entirely resprayed

Whats the history of this car ?
Why was it almost entirely resprayed ?

I don't know all the details except for what I saw with my own eyes.

Call the seller if you are interested

The workmanship is quite good, but for that money I would expect at least a sub 50k car with no bodywork whatsoever.

600k..... is madness

anyone here know's what the book on the car is ?

the exhaust has been changed and car has been re=sprayed(sectional)

so it's no longer in it's original stock form, i guess.... dropping the value at least south of 50%

comments... ???

IIRC the car was in front end smash, first owner (lady driver) hit a lamp pole.
Car was repaired by an ARC iirc.
Beaut of a car nonetheless with the second owner bringing in some nice bits and pieces of cf interior bits etc etc.
That being said, I would say maybe R400k worth of car.

It cannot be financed because no bank will lend you 600K for a 300K car.

They will lend you 600k.... over 36months.... and a R430 000 deposit...

as the car retails for 271 according to book...

:sorry:

Hey guys,

Went to see the car last night with a good friend and met the owner. Very nice guy and gave us the full story on the car – everything seems legit, but I agree, R600K is too much, even it’s #1 out of 65.

The car is very clean, not perfect, but it’s a 2003 model with 8x,xxx km’s so its understandably within spec. Brand new tyres, and brakes all round and Tune Tech worked on it last. Alcantara seats and steering wheel are in good shape and the owner drives with gloves to keep it as clean as possible. Overall, the body work is good and he did say there was work done to the front and side fender by BMW. Also, no tracks days.

The owner races BMW’s, he had a heavily modded E46 M3 & 325is in the corner, so he knows how to drive. Saying that, he took up for a spin. What impressed me was that he patiently waited for the oil temp to reach operating temp before he showed us what he and the car were born to do. Most people don’t understand (or care!) how critical operating oil temp is, especially in an M car...

I have never been that fast in a car. I’m not talking top speed, but referring to corners and handling. I still cannot get over how this car handles!!! It almost bends the laws of physics around itself and makes the rules as it goes along. It’s impossible to explain the experience, but I feel that I was part of a miracle. Accompanied by the out-of-body experience was the noise. It sounded like the engine was possessed by an army of raging bulls... Snorting, growling, blipping every aspect of a comma endued nightmare...

Reading news articles and how they always refer to this being the best ‘modern’ day M3, I couldn’t agree more. There is nothing like it. Watch the youtube video when it runs a Nurburgring lap... It’s like that, but with the volume at 11/10.

If given a choice, I would take an M3 CSL over any other car in the world, period.

It is that good...
