Ive owned an E46 M, brilliant car, cannot argue, the 35 is brilliant for what it is, but it does lack that special M feeling, last year I got a Z4M, and that really is a step up, even from an E46 M, different experience, truth be told, always leaves a smile

Just a couple of random pics. You will notice they are mostly early mornings when the roads are quite and these beast can be enjoyed properly. I had the 335i detailed recently so she was looking in tip top shape. I find myself using the 335i as my daily and the M3 is weekend king.

So after a couple of months of M3 ownership now, I can say the M3 is more fun to drive, but not when she is cold! So no point in using for my 5km commute to work.
The 335i is faster (in a straight line at least) by quite a bit. A modified N54 engine is farking strong, sheeeeeesh it still scares me when its pulling at 5-6000rpm. It just keeps going and going, power is there from 3000rpm and seems endless.

Cool write up. You have two awesome cars. One without doubt faster than the other, but the other without doubt more engaging on soo many levels. The E46 M is more than just a timeless design but a timelessly engineered car too. Some cars just have soul that raw speed alone from the alternatives can not match :praise:

Thanks again mate! At least there is one less car to choose when you deciding what will be your weekend cruzer.

Sounds like a grand idea! The only thing better than a E46 M3, is 3 E46 M3's :roflol::roflol:
