:hammerhead:...it keeps going off, the car never did this, now all of a sudden...i read on other forums about alarm sensors in the hood/bonnet...i dont see any on my car tho, anybody else had the same problem, frustrating
There is a hood sensor which is likea little button that the bonnet presses when it's closed. It's located near the brake fluid area near to the battery terminal. It's a common fault causing this issue.

My car alarm is faulty.. When I arm the alarm, the light flashes very fast (1 flash a second) and then slows down to a slow flash (normal - 1 flash every 3 or 4 seconds). Shortly after that, the alarm goes off and it is irritating. This is intermittent as some times the flash is normal and other times it is erratic (as described above).
