Hi, I recently bought a 318i E46, but it is leaking oil heavily on the oil filter housing. The housing has a round hole with what looks like a pressure valve inside, and it leaks from that hole, the oil runs down the side of the engine and then lands on the plastic cover underneath the engine. Is there a gasket / o-ring inside the hole that is supposed to seal it? Staying in Postmasburg, BMW spares is hard to come by.... Any suggestions on how to stop the leak. It leaks out about 2 litres of oil a week driving an average of 40 kilos a day.....
