E46 LCM Replacement

Hey guys a few months back my lights indicators etc stopped working alltogether. I check out the forums and all said it was the LCM. So I tookt he LCM from another E46 and tested it, it all worked! I called the Stealership and they said R4500 just for module ex labour and re programming! So I found one on the Junkmail for 1k and replaced it. No issues since! The only thing is that since I have fitted it I now have a little red "tamper" dot next to my mileage.
I understand that if you buy a new unit at BMW they program it with your vehicle.
My question is who can re-program my unit so the tamper dot is removed? I still have my old unit if that helps.

Yes you can, but it is not trivial if the unit has more than 255km on it. (ie cannot be done with diagnostic tools) Easiest will be to find someone that does "odometer correction" which in this case is actually what they will be doing.

I dont think the unit has more than 255 on it. Where can I take it to have this done. It does not really bother me, just one day when I wanto sell its not good.
