E46 Heater Valve

Has anyone ever replaced there Heatervalve on their E46? Mine is Making a Knocking noise:thumbdo:

What were your Symptoms before you replaced it

I missed diagnosed the situation i was getting hot air through the air con , ended up being in need of a re-gas

Ok And BMW wants R1200 for one
