Start with all the fuses first? Also is the warning gift on the dash illuminated? Read codes as well, light control module if faulty will throw a code..

The LCM is the module where you turn the lights on and off, this:

thanks Sankekur

i just wanted to check if the lcm got a few breaks in connection; but it didnt.

after a bit more nosing around yesterday; i figured out that the problem was the lug and wire right at the fitting. basically the lug started breaking up on the inside, so it couldnt make contact. i sorted it out with a bit of ingenuity and insulation tape. seems to be holding out for now

abmi; its halogen
