E46 Front Bumper Removal?

Hey Guys

Can anybody tell me how to remove the front bumper on a E46 318i F /L as in the picture below?

Tie rope to bumper and attach rope to a sturdy or very heavy object. Engage reverse and floor it...

With a lift it would be easier, but you have to remove the fender liners in the wheel wells, brake duct and then you have two torx bolts that hold the bumper to the stiffner. Torx bolts are accesse from underneathe the bumper. There are two hole in the bottom through which you stick the ratchet extension.

There are a couple of 10mm bolts also holding the bumper skin to the stiffner. These you access from behind the bumper, but you first need to remove the bumper trimmings to see where these bolts are.

There are also a couple of clips if I remember correctly.

But you will see how it goes once you start taking the things apart.

as far as i know there are 4 bolts... but i dont have the details i read up about it but have not done it yet... looked like quite an easy job

Easiest thing. I did it alone and the only tricky part is the fitting it again as you have to balance the darn thing to get the holes lined up. If you have a buddy, the fitment should take you an hour.
