E46 fan not switching on

Hey guys

I have a e46 318i pre facelift m43 motor. The radiator fan is not switching on. I have replaced the final stage regulator with a oem bmw part and its made no difference.

When I connect the fan directly to the battery it doesn't spin, but when I invert the current it does.

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be...

The radiator fan is supposed to fail ON... its odd than yours failed off...

normally there is a module on the fan that fails making it stay on you can get this separate and you have to by a new fan :yuck:

Try silverton have for a new fan...
