E46 failure

Hey Guys.
I have a 320i 2001 BMW. When shifting into gear there is a click sound every time, mostly in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. I was accelerating fast and something broke underneath my car and now my car wont go anywhere. Any possible failures it can be?

could be your center bearing failed or diff blown ?
i had the same problem with my e46

Thanks. How much does a rear diff cost to replace? or center bearings?

Have you lifted the car and checked for any visible failures?

That would be your first step.

Can the car go into any gear?

Does the propshaft spin when you push the acceleration pedal?

No not yet, will do that soon. The car can go into gear. When i release the clutch there is a scratching noise at the back somewhere. Also thought its maybe the diff that broke

So is it scratching or a clicking? I would say check your diff mounts, flex coupling (aka Guibo) or then potentially flywheel.
