E46 Diff problems

Does anyone know where I can obtain a diff for an E46 318i 2000 model. Mine is on the way out, it started humming, but now it turned into a really bad crunching sound, and the car feels as if is vibrating when you get up to around 120 km/h. Please guys, any help will be appreciated.

Considering the fact that I live in Northern Cape, and the closest possibility of a scrapyard is over 200 km away, it is not a viable option. I can't go scrapyard hunting, like when I used to live in Pretoria..... Distance is my enemy.
