Hi Guys,

As some of you know i have been having issues with these bushes.

I was referred to some guys in Pretoria called Sids Suspension Parts.

I called them now and asked if they could fit the Polyurethane Bushes. I was told they they are crap and they fit and supply Heavy duty bushes for R980.

Did anyone go to these guys before?

I used to go to them like 4 years ago and were quiet good. Just want to know if anyone has fitted them and do they last longer?

They are referring to the Meyle HD parts. They are good, much better than poly's, you can't go very wrong with them. I have a pair in my E39.

i have poly bushes from polyparts in cpt... they are harsh compared to rubber, but i dont find them too bad and you get a more direct feel...

i have not heard anything bad about Meyle HD i might try them when my bushes go next time and see...

Where can you find these in Cape Town?

My LCA bushes are shot, cannot even do a wheel alignment.

Gonna take them off next week and was planning to take them to Polyparts in Brackenfell to fit the poly bushes.
Would like to see if there is another option.

Hey guys,

I spent most of yesterday sorting out my car. Damn those bushes made a huge difference to the car. Feels much better and more stable.

If you guys are around the Pretoria area I would strongly advise going to these guys. (Syds suspension Parts). Speak to Syd. Very professional with a top class workshop.

They charged me R990 for the heavy duty bush with fitment and wheel alignment.

The Normal price is R1300 but he will give us on this club a discount.

That's a bargain!
Just wish something similar was available in Cape Town.

Ok. Precision Wheel Alignment in Parow quoted R800 (labour only, must supply own bushes, or pay for the ones they get.) to do the job. I Told them I do not want rubber bushes.
Imcomex in Wellington charges R832 ex vat per set for the Meyle bushes.
Polyparts in Brackenfell will fit the bushes (in the arm) for R175 each.

Think I will take off the arms myself and take them to Polyparts. cash is a bit thin.
Now just for the inspiration to tackle the job.

Note that R800 is for labour only.

Best thing is to shop around without prejudice.
Get a quote without telling them you have warranty.
