E46 - Aftermarket Radio

Hey Guys

Which radio can I get that would support the steering wheel controls?

I would like to get a radio that supports USB/Bluetooth

The guys from Gauteng car sound in Blackheath advised they supply a static controller @ R1500 that makes any aftermarket head unit compatible with the steering controls.

I didn't try it though.

Pricing seems fair. Cost in it is about R1050 plus vat. Thats cost.

My brother in law fitted one in the x5, works fine.

I have found two models that support the steering controls.

JVC KD-R746BT Bluetooth USB AUX 2 x PREOUT CD MP3
Pioneer DEH-X6550BT Mp3 with USB and Bluetooth

How they hook up, I have no clue
