Be careful of webuycars. I've tested numerous cars for people from that place and almost all were either insurance written off cars being poorly repaired, or the kms were turned back.

Yeah they are a business at the end of the day so trade value is the best you will get.

I said Almost all, not all, so yea, not my fault the Opp didn't follow advice from people telling him to go and view the car.

In the end the right person took ownership of the car as intended by the universe.

@Coisman, my reply wasn't aimed at you, so not sure why you felt the need to clarify and shift 'blame'.? I fully comprehend what was intended with your original statement, so no need to reiterate or quote yourself.

Agree about the quality of the vast majority of vehicles from WeBuyCars, but making a decision based purely on hearsay is where the OP lost out. Onus was on the OP to have the car checked out and no one else can be blamed. My statement was merely to point out that it is important one takes the time and effort to verify information for oneself, that is all.
