Hi Guys.

So I am struggling to decide if I should go this route, is it really worth R3200 for a K&N kit?

I would say yes and no, yes if plan on doing a re-map to match your new found airflow ,if not then no it will just sound louder and make u feel like you going faster.

Chat to Moranor about the TarrTech intake, and whether they've made any progress on fitting it to the E46.

It's a solid design, one that I prefer over the majority of the other ones on the market. It's also R700 cheaper.

Here's the link: TarrTech Intake

What about a sealed unit CAI for a 330? I'm sure it will create more forced induction and I'm sure the unit will sell!!

How much is the OEM bmw performance intake?

About R10k.

Ok nevermind:dropjaw: I was expecting a figure half of that or less:yuck:

I know its a balls up. About 2 years ago it was on special for like USD300. :( :( Now supply is so low in the market it goes for like USD800 and then you still need to get it here. FML.

330i has a larger Maf and piping so the TarrTech intake wont work for a 330i...

And so what is being done about this? :)

changing this will require a completely different production run :(

Axis intake is in the works but still under testing...

I would love to have this on my car, but at that price it's just insane:yuck:

For the sound alone, its worth it...

+1. If you want that I6 to amplify then you will love every second of it. Just don't expect huge gains but it is alot of money for just a good sound.
I have one in my car. Got off Gumtree for R1500 and loving every second of it

Wouldn't you get better results spending that money on a decat if you haven't already done so? I still want to explore this option for my car more for the sound than performance.
