Good day fellow fanatics.

I replaced my expansion tank in the beginning of the month and there were no leaks afterwards, but since this week there is a small leak on the left bottom side, i think it is closer to the bottom of the radiator. The temp gauge stays in the middle. i have topped up the expansion tank with 100ml this week. The leak isn't coming from the expansion tank, i will have to open the bottom cover and inspect from the bottom where the leak is coming from. How would i know if it is the radiator? And if it is the radiator where should i buy a new radiator from? i will appreciate all advice given.

Do a pressure test, you will know where the leak is after that. Start with that before you get carried away with what to buy where.

Any radiator place e.g Silverton can do the pressure test for you

Some mechanics actually have the tools to do it....After fitting a new Expansion Tank on mine (same car) the mechie did the pressure Test on the spot

Pity I was in Durbs, I see you based in Gauteng

Silverton radiator did a pressure test, there is a small leak just below the top radiator hose bracket on the radiator side not on the hose that clicks into the radiator. Is there anything that i can use to put on the outside of the bracket that would stop the leak. Or is it better to just buy a radiator an install it?

Replace broer

Cooling system is already not E46's strong point...so no use cutting corners

Buy a BEHR radiator....that's OEM
