Eish I don't know... Once the error clears on it's own with the sensors clean all should be ok.

Maybe i should scan my car again. I dont have a scanner. Where is the best place to scan to see more in depth what could be wrong?

Most certainly it is the steering angle sensor that needs recalibration. Find a workshop with the necessary software tool to do this.

I still say the Steering angle sensor is faulty or needs calibration. I use Technospec, they near Goldreef City but might be far for you, or Ross Duncan in Midrand might be able to assist.

An old friend of mine had a 2001 E39 525i which developed an abs module problem which cost him about R4k in 2012 for a recon one. Was done by Combined Electronics here in CT. Cannot remember the lights on the dashboard but it could also be your problem. Hope not though!

I think you are right. The light came on once Monday and not again. Could it be possible that a sensor is broken even if the scan doesnt say it?

Yes. Can even be a dirty connection terminal, or a wire going bad.
