Hi all, I have a 2004 E46 330d.
The high pressure fuel pump recently gave out, I looked at getting one new but the prices for a new pump are absolutely ridiculous.
I managed to find one secondhand for a reasonable price, but when I received it I saw that it's not exactly the same as the one I removed from the car. The new pump definitely came from an E46 330d, so I want to know if it will still work in my car or if I should return it.
The model number on the back of the original pump is: 7 788 678
And the number on the back of the new pump is: 7 788 670
Any help/advise will be greatly appreciated.
