I have a friend which have to fix injectors on his car. Or at least thats what the mechie told him. He is quoted at 3.5k each, refurbished. Is that a good price? Total r21k.

His symptoms are a knock sound on idling which goes away as soon as he gives a little revs. This glhas been getting worse as of late. Does this sound like injectors, I would have thought smoking and poor performance is injectors?

Lifter noise is a common issue with these. Try a different thickness oil and do the bleeding process.

Maybe a long shot but it could be waterpump?
