Hi All

If anyone can guide me onto the right path please, i'd appreciate it. My 330d's aircon blower is dead, although all instrumentation is working and louvres and mechanical parts can be heard under the dash when switching on the aircon. On a previous thread I read about a final stage resistor that could be buggered. where is it situated? thx Vincent

Bought the FSR yesterday and fitted it this morning. Was a bit uncomfortable but all-round not too difficult a job. Bought a t20 magnetic screwdriver and shortened the handle to get in. Steering column makes it difficult to loosen the top screw of the FSR. All working now and at least I can cool down again. Damn it has been hot these last few days.

Also I sent the car for alignment yesterday and found that the lower control arm bushes were completely worn out, no wonder the car was dancing around on the road at high speeds. anyway also replaced them.

Next task is to replace the front brake disks. Was previously driven metal on metal, so they are damaged and noisy.

Good Job Vinny!

Maybe start a thread that includes all the jobs on your E46 so you have it all together in one place :)

Hopefully the diagnostic will shed some light on how to get the car 100% in no time.
