Hi All,

I previously posted on behalf of a friend inquiring about:Intake manifold Sensor.
So somehow the required part was not - Intake manifold Sensor as I was told.

Apparently the part in question is the Vanos Sensor or cam lift Sensor.

Anyone had any experience with issues or replacement of this part?
apparently its agents only?

Thnks ppz

what are the symptoms that the car is experiencing? most sensors are Bosch so your best bet would be to give diesel electric a call and give them the part number of the item in question. if its the sensor im thinking about then replacement is a 20min job :coolShake:

Hi nikhil

Apparently rough idle and no power on low revs, The Car was sent to some workshop Autocare I think, They advised its vanos or cam lift sensor and its agents only part. Quoted the dude a arm and leg to replace, So the dude parked the car off for the last 2 months and is contemplating fixing or selling it.

I dont know to much history on it, just trying to help out with some information for him as hes quite fond of the car.
