E46 325i Electric Auxiliary fan help

Guys,

i need your help please.

My electric auxiliary fan (radiator fan) seems to have kicked the bucket. It doesnt switch on at all when operating temp is reached nor when the a/c is switched on. My car has manual transmission and only the one fan.

I understand that the fan has a built in control unit. I nearly fell over when i got the price from the stealers. Anyone have suggestions on other outlets / suppliers where i can get a decent quality fan at a price that doesnt invoke heart pulpitations?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated

I bought one for my E46 about two months ago in PE for R2500.00. So, look around, you should not be paying much more than that.
