E46 320i 2000

Hi,Iam new to this please can somebody help me.I have got a E46 320i 2000 model.About a year ago I was travelling to Jhb from south Coast.At Pmb my car just switched off -started again switched off again.I got Bmw on call -they took my car to the Bmw workshop.Only the next at 16;00 I could leave -it was fine.a Year later the same happened -I got a german guy who worked on Bmw and Porches.He had the car for two weeks and its worse.This cost me in total of R10.000.00.Can somebody please help me I think it is feul starvation.

I have the same car and when this happened to me. It was the fuel pump. My wife returned home with the car and parked it in the garage. After that it just would not start. Replace the fuel pump and fuel filter and all was well.
