Hi guys

As luck would have it I need to replace my turbo. I will be doing this with the aid of a mechanic but I would just like a few hints and tips regarding the process that should be followed.

The previous guys installed a recon unit I think so I want to ensure my new garrett is fitted correctly.

Any information will be great.

Not a turbo expert, but I would suggest checking(or let the mechanic check) that the oil feed lines are fine and dandy. There are so many things to check so I hope your mechanic is good at what he does :)
Good luck and let us know how this pans out

Replace the loo type oil separator (if your car still has that) for the later type should be a priority before you even start the car with the new turbo!

Make sure he takes it out the bottom, if he tries to do it out the top, it will end in tears.
