So i have a 2004 320d e46 and my turbo works. I can be driving and all of a sudden it stops boosting. When i switch the car off and then on again it will then work fine for like 5mins.

Any takers??

Hi Bud. i would plug and in and see if you have any codes first and foremost.
you can check all the Vacuum lines, one small hole hole or crack and it messes with the entire system.

Diagnostics is all clear. Vacuum lines have all been checked. My thing is, i think it's electrical because when i restart the car then the boost works again like there was never a problem for like 5 min

Okay cool. So i tried this. Had boost for a little while and then nothing. So when i tried turning the car pff then on, still no boost. Tried it 2 more times, and still nothing. Connected the sensor up again and had boost. But not for too long.

You think its the MaF sensor?
