E46 320D Impressions

Hi Fanatics

Just out of curiosity, is there anyone with an E46 320d? if so, what is your impression of the car? how is it like to own 1? mgwaiting:

Hi. Had a E46 320d LCI manual Msport few years back. Car was great to drive. Mileage was close to 300,000 when it was sold. Problems we had on the car was the damper pulley, prop shaft a head gasket. Considering the mileage, it was reasonable. The E46 320d is not as smooth as the E90, especially on start up and low speeds but its much better once you on the go. I would suggest you go for a LCI model as well. :thumbs:

e46 320d is a great car!
Things to look out for would be noisy thrust bearing on the manual and turbo. Thrust bearing isn't an issue but turbo's do tend to go on these earlier models. Good cars overall though
